Permit Applications and Fees
Permiton Junction
Regulates construction, land development, and zoning in Grande Prairie and the surrounding region.
Applications must include architectural drawings, traffic impact studies, and utility coordination plans. Applications are reviewed by a multi-departmental review team. Public consultation is mandatory for projects exceeding 5,000 sq. ft. Approval timelines range from 15 to 45 business days.
Traffic lights are controlled by permit-based timing algorithms. Even turning left requires a directional permit.
