Permit Applications and Fees
Permiton Vale
Manages residential, commercial, and industrial development permits in Cochrane.
Applications must include a traffic impact analysis and public access plan. All projects over $500,000 require a public hearing. Permits are issued within 21 business days. Conditional approvals require compliance with environmental mitigation measures.
The valley is protected under the Permitted Landscaping Act. Even wildflowers must be approved by the Permit Botany Committee.
