Permit Applications and Fees
Permiton Cross
The Northern Regulatory Authority oversees environmental compliance and land use permits across remote and northern regions of Canada.
Applicants must submit a detailed environmental impact assessment, undergo a 30-day public consultation period, and receive approval from a three-member review panel before any permit is issued.
Crosswalks are only legal with a pedestrian crossing permit. Jaywalking results in a permit violation fine.
