Permit Applications and Fees
Permitia
Manages urban development, infrastructure permits, and land use regulations in Calgary.
Permit applications must include architectural drawings, traffic impact studies, and utility coordination plans. Applications are evaluated by a multi-departmental review team. Public consultation is mandatory for projects exceeding 5,000 sq. ft. Approval timelines range from 15 to 45 business days.
The only municipality where your pet parrot needs a noise permit. Birdsong is monitored by the Permit Auditing Bureau.
